For many Star Wars fans all across the world, tonight is the night!
Episode 5 of Ahsoka features the first live action encounter between Rosario Dawson's titular character and Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker. Titled "Fallen Jedi," this week's episode is the reunion that pays off all that Rebels and Clone Wars fandom--the Jedi Master confronting his apprentice before he turns to the Dark Side and brings destruction to the Jedi Order.
Episode director Peter Ramsey knew how massive the stakes were for this anticipated encounter, and for Christensen himself; "We just talked about what it's like for him to be seeing Ahsoka after all this time, that it's a reunion for them," Ramsey revealed. "And I just told him, 'It's like you haven't seen your daughter in two years. She'd gone off to college and you're seeing her again and she's like a different person but still your daughter.'"
Emotional stakes aside , Ahsoka's fifth episode is also rumored to premiere the portal in the World Between Worlds which may open the Star Wars narrative to limitless possibilities. It's no wonder tonight's installment is premiering in theaters.
