Are you ready to hear some news about a movie that's two years away (if not more, thanks to the news today)? Well, it's been a busy week for James Gunn and his movie Superman: Legacy as the very transparent director has cast the members of what seems to be a Justice League/ Justice Society amalgamation. First up, we have pal of the Gunn, Nathan Fillion who will put a ring on it and become a Green Lantern Corp member, specifically Guy Gardner. This will be the first cinematic Emerald Knight since Ryan Reynolds's 2011 film.
Then, we have Edi Gathegi who will portray Mister Terrific who was a relatively obscure DC character since his creation in 1997 until he appeared in the Arrowverse on the CW, and Hawkgirl portrayed by Isabela Merced who you may recognize as Dora the Explorer (we're not kidding).
Lastly, and most recently, there's the comedy noir Barry actor Anthony Carrigan who was just announced as Metamorpho the Element Man which is, as far as characters go, peak Gunn. Metamorpho is both pretty weird and somewhat freakish and will require significant CGI--let's just hope DC has invested in better computers than the ones they used in the Flash.
