Irish actor Ray Stevenson has passed away at the age of 58. It's worth mentioning here because Stevenson has certainly earned his place as an honorary geek having first appeared as Frank Castle in the pre-John Wick Punisher: War Zone, and then showing up in the first three Thor movies as Volstagg. Stevenson even spent time in a Galaxy far, far away as Gar Saxon in Star Wars Rebels and the Clone Wars. In fact, his last filmed appearance will take place as a live version of Saxon in the forthcoming Ahsoka series soon to debut this summer on Disney+.
But not just relegated to appearing in Disney owned properties, Stevenson portrayed Scott Buxton the ruthless villain in the breakout Indian action musical RRR.
