Perhaps inspired by the old Reese's commercials of yore ("You got your Nightcrawler in my Spider-Man!" "You got your Spider-Man in my Nightcrawler!"), we're getting an unconventional..or should we say, uncanny mash-up.
Coming out this September, writer Si Spurrier and artist Lee Garbett will give us Uncanny Spider-Man, a reimagining of the famed hero as the tailed, two-toed teleporter. We're not entirely sure how it happened, but this is apparently fall-out from the Fall of X event.
"The heart of the X-Men, Kurt has always shined as one of the most heroic and daring mutants in the franchise," Marvel reports. "Now, as the darkness of FALL OF X overwhelms his fellow mutants, Nightcrawler will embrace a new role as a classic New York City-bamfing hero!"
