Congrats! DC and James Gunn have their new Clark Kent and Lois Lane and it's David Corenswet as the titular Superman: Legacy hero while Rachel Brosnahan is on board to play Lois Lane.
Superman: Legacy has been set for a worldwide release on July 11, 2025 with rumors of Warren Ellis's the Authority making an appearance in the film, as well.
Are we excited? Who knows? Maybe? Considering we hadn't heard of Corenswet until recently means we are very impressionable. Brosnahan, on the other hand, has delighted critics in Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and before that in Netflix's House of Cards. So at least we know she can act.
This will be the first cinematic installment in Gunn's DCU.
